[Member] March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 Would like to resurrect a request for STARLING issued by Font Bureau. I'm trying to get my head wrapped around 2 strange concepts: 1. The somewhat sordid history between Monotype's Times' (New) Roman and Linotype's Times Roman and that it is possible that Mike Parker's version of Starling is based on an earlier 1904 William Starling Burgess design. 2. Playing around with Monotype's Times NR MT Pro, after I forcefully tried to empty my brain of all negative thoughts about TNR, I actually like it.
