[Member] December 31, 2014 Share December 31, 2014 Anyone has this script font named The King (http://graphicriver.net/item/the-king/8978964?WT.oss_phrase=&WT.oss_rank=6&WT.z_author=stefano033&WT.ac=search_grid or https://creativemarket.com/Elmrabet/82466-The-King-Extra-pack-%28-30-Off-%29) It is very similar to Claude Pelletier's Chopin Script
[Member] December 31, 2014 Share December 31, 2014 Happy New Year!!! According to Claude Pelletier; this is a pirated copy of his font....renamed, of course.
[Member] January 1, 2015 Author Share January 1, 2015 Learned about this from Claude also. I am asking if someone has a copy because I would like to see the outlines of that font as Claude said the designer of The King claimed he drew it. Claude also mentioned that the spacing is too similar to his font's. Also, Claude mentioned that another font by that person, Lonely Brush (https://creativemarket.com/Elmrabet/79657-Lonely-Brush), reminds him of Kimberly Geswein's From Where You Are (http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/kimberly-geswein/from-where-you-are/) The problem with this is that Claude digitized an existing design and seeing another digitization might raise suspicions especially if the spacing between letters and, on this case, connections are too much alike. You have to see the font to be sure. On Geswein's case, she can say it was stolen because the font is her original design.
[Member] January 2, 2015 Share January 2, 2015 Found more info. on Luc Levroye's site; makes me wonder who monitors the fonts sold as "originals," @ Creative Market. http://luc.devroye.org/fonts-77136.html
