Hello Pilo Community..

I've just moved to Jordan and despite not knowing any written arabic at all, am getting a few small jobbies in Arabic to complete! Panic.

I've searched the forums already and downloaded a few from a thread by 'parv' (i think the username is). But I'm just wondering if anyone here has the higher end stuff - arabic fonts featured on linotype or on grapheast? There is no specific thread that is a request thread for Arabic typefaces (not calligraphy), so I thought I would make one.

Can anyone lend a hand? Thanks in advance!

Did you check the open directories I posted in the arabic fonts sharing thread?

There are some Linotype fonts:

and GraphEast:

http://zakdesign.net/MyFile/ArabicCollect/GraphEFontsC/

and many more:

However - I have no idea if they are what you're looking for.

Thank you Lejane...and also thanks Lazy Vampire (LV - those were fonts I haven't got so cheers!). To be honest, I have little idea what I'm looking for either - I have just moved to Jordan, don't speak a word of Arabic, but have just found work with a bi-lingual art space to do their programmes etc - though I don't speak or read arabic, they are providing content in a word document in Arabic...I'm trying to get hold of a few decent looking, simple, Arabic fonts that I can use. I requested Grapheast / Linotype in hope that they would be most complete and minimise any errors or mishaps in terms of missing ligatures etc.

I did browse the Zak Design archives that you previously posted, thank you kindly! Grabbed them all, some look much more reliable than others. Cheers :)
