The press release from 1998 is here: https://www.monotype.com/resources/font-stories/meet-walbaum-a-restored-modern-serif-font-that-exudes-elegance and it's available at https://www.myfonts.com/collections/walbaum-font-monotype-imaging. The Monotype topic in Shares has a post with it but the link is dead. There's another post with an active link containing 700 Monotype typefaces but the Walbaum version in that share is the old one.
